And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
