And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
