THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
