And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and at night.
