We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And We led the twain on unto the straight path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
