Hizb 46

And Yunus was most surely of the apostles. 139 Call to mind when he fled to the laden ship, 140 and cast lots, and was of the rebutted, 141 Then the big Fish did swallow him, and he had done acts worthy of blame. 142 Had he not been one of those who struggled hard, 143 he would certainly have remained inside the fish until the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ but We cast him upon the wilderness, and he was sick, 145 and caused a creeping plant to grow over him [out of the barren soil]. 146 We sent him to a hundred thousand men or more, 147 They believed in him so We granted them enjoyment for an appointed time. 148 AND NOW ask them to enlighten thee: Has thy Sustainer daughters, whereas they would have [only] sons? 149 Or that We created the angels female, and they are witnesses (thereto)? 150 Lo! verily it is of their falsehood that they say: 151 "God has begotten [a son]"; and verily, they are lying [too, when they say,] 152 “Has he chosen daughters instead of sons?” 153 Woe to you! How terrible is your Judgment. 154 Will ye not then reflect? 155 Or have you a clear authority? 156 Then produce your writ, if ye are truthful. 157 They claim that He has kinship with the jinn, yet the jinn themselves know that they will be produced before Him [for judgement]. 158 Purity is to Allah from the matters they fabricate. 159 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 160 for, verily, neither you [blasphemers] nor the objects of your worship 161 Cannot lead astray [turn away from Him (Allah) anyone of the believers], 162 except him who shall roast in the Blazing Fire. 163 And the angels say, “Each one of us has an appointed known position.” 164 And most surely we are they who draw themselves out in ranks, 165 and we are of those who glorify Allah.” 166 AND, INDEED, they [who deny the truth] have always been wont to say, 167 "If only we had had before us a Message from those of old, 168 we would have been sincere worshipers of Allah' 169 Yet (now that it is come) they disbelieve therein; but they will come to know. 170 And assuredly Our word hath already gone forth Our bondmen, the sent ones: 171 That they would certainly be assisted, 172 and Our armies shall be the victors. 173 So turn away from them for a while. 174 And watch them and they shall see (the punishment)! 175 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 176 But when it cometh home to them, then it will be a hapless morn for those who have been warned. 177 Stay away from them for a while 178 And wait, for they will soon see. 179 Purity is to your Lord, the Lord of Honour, from all what they say. 180 And peace is upon the Noble Messengers. 181 And all praise unto Allah the Lord of the worlds. 182
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
