AND CALL to mind Our servant Job, [how it was] when he cried out to his Sustainer, "Behold, Satan has afflicted me with [utter] weariness and suffering!" 41 Stamp the ground with thy foot, yonder is water to wash in, cool, and water to drink. 42 And We bestowed on him (again) his household and therewith the like thereof, a mercy from Us, and a memorial for men of understanding. 43 "And take in thy hand a little grass, and strike therewith: and break not (thy oath)." Truly We found him full of patience and constancy. How excellent in Our service! ever did he turn (to Us)! 44 Also, remember Our worshipers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, those of might and vision. 45 Lo! We purified them with a pure thought, remembrance of the Home (of the Hereafter). 46 They are the chosen ones, the excellent in Our sight. 47 And remember Ismail and Al-Yasha and Zulkifl; and they were all of the best. 48 This is a Message (of admonition): and verily, for the righteous, is a beautiful Place of (Final) Return,- 49 gardens of perpetual bliss, with gates wide-open to them, 50 wherein they recline, and wherein they call for fruits abundant, and sweet potions, 51 ۞ And beside them will be chaste women restraining their glances, (companions) of equal age. 52 Such is the Promise made, to you for the Day of Account! 53 this, verily, shall be Our provision [for you,] with no end to it! 54 All of this; but, for the proud there is an ill return. 55 Hell; they shall enter it, so evil is the resting-place. 56 All of this; so let them taste it, boiling water and pus, 57 and, coupled with it, further [suffering] of a similar nature. 58 This is a crowd rushing in along with you; no welcome for them; verily they are to roast in the Fire. 59 They will reply: “Rather, no welcome to you. (You will roast in Hell.) It is you who led us to this end. What an evil resort!” 60 They will say: "Our Lord! whoever brought this upon us,- Add to him a double Penalty in the Fire!" 61 And they will add: "How is it that we do not see [here any of the] men whom we were wont to count among the wicked, 62 Took we them so unjustly for a butt of mockery, or are they deluding our eyes? 63 Such disputes will certainly take place among the dwellers of hell fire. 64
