Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, the Mighty, the Forgiver. 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 from which you are turning away. 68 [Say, O Muhammad:] "No knowledge would I have had of [what passed among] the host on high when they argued [against the creation of man,] 69 I have only received revelation to give you plain warning. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: “Verily I am creating a human being from clay. 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 He (Allah) said: 'iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself towards that which I have created with My Hands? Have you become too proud, or are you among the grand' 75 Answered [Iblis]: "I am better than he: Thou hast created me out of fire, whereas him Thou hast created out of clay." 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 and My curse shall remain upon you till the Day of Resurrection.” 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 [And God] said: "This, then, is the truth! And this truth do I state: 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
