Hast thou not seen those who wrangle concerning the revelations of Allah, how they are turned away? - 69 Those who reject the Book and that with which We have sent Our Apostle; but they shall soon come to know, 70 when fetters and chains shall be on their necks, and they shall be dragged into 71 In boiling water; they will then be ignited* in the fire. (Like fuel – see verse 2:24) 72 and then they will be asked, "Where are those whom you associated [with God]?" 73 Apart from God?" They will answer: "They have left us in the lurch and fled. In fact it was nothing that we prayed to before." That is how God sends the unbelievers astray. 74 that is because you exulted in the land without justification and because you behaved insolently. 75 "Enter ye the gates of Hell, to dwell therein: and evil is (this) abode of the arrogant!" 76 So be patient (O Muhammad SAW), verily, the Promise of Allah is true, and whether We show you (O Muhammad SAW in this world) some part of what We have promised them, or We cause you to die, then it is to Us they all shall be returned. 77 And indeed, [O Muhammad,] We sent forth apostles before thy time; some of them We have mentioned to thee, and some of them We have not mentioned to thee. And it was not given to any apostle to bring forth a miracle other than by God's leave. Yet when God's will becomes manifest, judgment will [already] have been passed in all justice, and lost will be, then and there, all who tried to reduce to nothing [whatever they could not understand]. 78
