ART THOU NOT aware of how far they who call God's messages in question have lost sight of the truth? 69 Those who cry lies to the Book and that wherewith We sent Our Messengers -- soon they will know! 70 When around their necks will be shackles and chains; they will be dragged. – 71 In the boiling fetid fluid: then in the Fire shall they be burned; 72 They will then be asked: "Where are they you took as partners 73 They will say, "They have been lost to us; nay, we did not invoke anything before [that had real existence]." Thus God leaves the deniers of the truth to stray; 74 (They will be told): “This is because while you were on earth you took delight in untruth and exulted in it. 75 Enter the gates of Hell to abide eternally therein, and wretched is the residence of the arrogant." 76 (Muhammad), exercise patience. The promise of God is true. Whether We let you witness the suffering with which they were threatened or because of your death (you do not see them suffering,), We shall still punish them when they return to Us (on the Day of Judgment). 77 And We have already sent messengers before you. Among them are those [whose stories] We have related to you, and among them are those [whose stories] We have not related to you. And it was not for any messenger to bring a sign [or verse] except by permission of Allah. So when the command of Allah comes, it will be concluded in truth, and the falsifiers will thereupon lose [all]. 78
