Elucidated (Fussilat)

54 verses, revealed in Mecca after Forgiver (Ghaafer) before Consultation (Al-Shooraa)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Ha. Mim. 1 A Revelation from (Allah), Most Gracious, Most Merciful;- 2 A Book, the verses of which are distinguished, an Arabic Koran for a nation who know. 3 It bears glad tidings and a warning, yet most of them turn away and do not listen. 4 And they say: Our hearts are under coverings from that to which you call us, and there is a heaviness in our ears, and a veil hangs between us and you, so work, we too are working. 5 Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Physically I am a human like you – I receive the divine revelation that your God is only One God, therefore be upright towards Him and seek forgiveness from Him”; and woe is to the polytheists. – 6 (To) those who do not give poor-rate and they are unbelievers in the hereafter. 7 Indeed for those who believed and did good deeds, is a limitless reward. 8
