The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 is food for the sinner. 44 like the dregs of oil, it shall boil in their bellies, 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 (A voice will cry: "Seize ye him and drag him into the midst of the Blazing Fire! 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 Taste it - thou who [on earth] hast considered thyself so mighty, so noble! 49 Surely this is what you disputed about. 50 Surely the godfearing shall be in a station secure 51 among gardens and springs, 52 clothed in fine silk and rich brocade, sitting face to face with one another. 53 so it will be. We shall wed them to maidens with large, dark eyes. 54 They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit - safe and secure. 55 They will not taste death therein, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the torment of the Flaming Fire. 56 A grace from your Lord; this is the great achievement. 57 (O Prophet), We have made this Book easy in your tongue so that they may take heed. 58 So wait thou [for what the future will bring]: behold, they, too, are waiting. 59
