Lo, the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum 43 Is food for the sinful. 44 Like dregs of oil; it shall boil in (their) bellies, 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 [And the word will be spoken:] "Seize him, [O you forces of hell,] and drag him into the midst of the blazing fire: 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 "Taste thou (this)! Truly wast thou mighty, full of honour! 49 Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt. 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 In Gardens and water-springs. 52 They will be dressed in fine silk and embroidery, facing one another (on thrones). 53 Thus shall it be. And We shall pair them with companions pure, most beautiful of eye. 54 They will call for every kind of fruit with satisfaction. 55 They taste not death therein, save the first death. And He hath saved them from the doom of hell, 56 as an act of grace. That will be the supreme triumph. 57 We have made the Quran easy for you to recite so that perhaps they may take heed. 58 So be watchful, they too are watching. 59
