Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Those who disbelieve and turn (men) from the way of Allah, He rendereth their actions vain. 1 As for the believers who do good works and believe in what is sent down to Muhammad which is the truth from their Lord He will acquit them of their sins and repair their condition. 2 That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, and have given them their dowries, taking (them) in marriage, not fornicating nor taking them for paramours in secret; and whoever denies faith, his work indeed is of no account, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers. 3 Therefore, when you meet the unbelievers smite their necks, then, when you have killed many of them, tie the bonds. Then, either free them by grace or ransom until war shall lay down its loads, in this way, it shall be. Had Allah willed, He would have been victorious over them; except that He might test you, the one by the means of others. As for those who are killed in the Way of Allah, He will not let their works to go astray. 4 He will guide them and improve their state, 5 and He will admit them to Paradise, that He has made known to them. 6 Believers! If you succour God, He will succour you and make your footsteps firm. 7 But as for those who are bent on denying the truth, destruction will be their lot, and [God] will make their deeds come to nothing. 8 That was because they were averse to what Allah had revealed; so He let their works go to waste. 9 ۞ Have they not journeyed in the land and seen the fate of those before them? Destroyed they were utterly by God; and a similar (fate) awaits the unbelievers. 10 That is because Allah is the Protector of those who believe, but those who reject Allah have no protector. 11
