Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf. I swear by the glorious Quran (that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah) 1 Nay; they wondered that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. The unbelievers said: “This indeed is a strange thing. 2 that after we die and become dust, we shall be brought back to life again. This seems far from reality". 3 We already know how much of them (of their bodies) the earth will consume. With Us there is a Book that contains all records. 4 In fact they denied the Truth when it came to them, so they are now in a dilemma. 5 Have they not then observed the sky above them, how We have constructed it and beautified it, and how there are no rifts therein? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains, and We cause every delightful thing to grow in it 7 As instruction and reminder to every penitent creature. 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 and tall palm-trees with clusters of dates 10 as sustenance apportioned to men; and by [all] this We bring dead land to life: [and] even so will be [man's] coming-forth from death. 11 And before them the people of Nuh belied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 And 'Ad, and Fir'aun (Pharaoh), and the brethren of Lout (Lot), 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the people of Tubba; each one belied the apostles, wherefore fulfilled was My judgement. 14 Did We, then, become worn out by the first creation? Not at all; but they are in doubt about a fresh creation. 15
