And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge). 16 When the two Receivers receive (him), seated on the right hand and on the left, 17 There is not a word he utters but an observer is ready (to make note of it). 18 And the intoxication of death will bring the truth; that is what you were trying to avoid. 19 And the trumpet will be blown: this is the Day of the Threatening. 20 And every soul cometh, along with it a driver and a witness. 21 'Thou wast heedless of this; therefore We have now removed from thee thy covering, and so thy sight today is piercing.' 22 And (unto the evil-doer) his comrade saith: This is that which I have ready (as testimony). 23 Do cast into hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 Preventer of good, aggressor, and doubter, 25 Who set up with Allah another god. So cast him ye twain into the torment severe. 26 ۞ His Companion will say: "Our Lord! I did not make him transgress, but he was (himself) far astray." 27 He (Allah) will say: 'Do not dispute before Me. I sent you a warning beforehand. 28 No word is to be exchanged in My presence. I am not unjust to My servants". 29
