▼ 51 Drivers of the Winds
Al-Dhaareyaat 3 of 3
And heaven -- We built it with might, and We extend it wide. 47 And the earth, We have made it a wide extent; how well have We then spread (it) out. 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 51 Similarly, no messenger came to the Peoples before them, but they said (of him) in like manner, "A sorcerer, or one possessed"! 52 What! Have they willed this utterance to one another? In fact they are a rebellious people. 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Lo! Allah! He it is that giveth livelihood, the Lord of unbreakable might. 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
