AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 And We have spread out the (spacious) earth: How excellently We do spread out! 48 And of everything created We two kinds; haply you will remember. 49 Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 Similarly, whenever a Noble Messenger came to those before them they always said, “He is a magician or a madman.” 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me. 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 Indeed it is Allah, Who is the Greatest Sustainer, the Strong, the Able. 58 The evildoers shall have their portion, like the portion of their fellows; so let them not hasten Me! 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
