Therefore continue to give warning, for by the grace of your Lord, you are not a soothsayer or a madman. 29 Or do they say: "(Muhammad SAW is) a poet! We await for him some calamity by time! 30 Say, "Wait, for indeed I am, with you, among the waiters." 31 is it their minds that prompt them [to say] this, or are they merely insolent people? 32 Or do they say: "He (Muhammad SAW) has forged it (this Quran)?" Nay! They believe not! 33 Let them then produce a recital like unto it,- If (it be) they speak the truth! 34 [Or do they deny the existence of God?] Have they themselves been created without anything [that might have caused their creation]? or were they, perchance, their own creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, they have no firm belief. 36 Do they possess the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the treasurers? 37 Or, do they have a ladder on which they listen? Then let any of them that has listened bring a clear authority. 38 Or, has He daughters, and they sons? 39 Or askest thou (Muhammad) a fee from them so that they are plunged in debt? 40 Or have they the unseen so that they write (it) down? 41 Do they design evil plans? The disbelievers themselves will be snared by their evil plots. 42 Do they have another god besides God? God is too exalted to be considered equal to the idols. 43 And were they to see a portion of the sky falling, they will say, “It is a heap of clouds.” 44 So, leave them until they face their day (of doom) when they will be stunned. 45 A Day whereon their plotting will avail them not at all, nor will they be succoured. 46 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a punishment before that, but most of them do not know. 47 So wait patiently (O Muhammad SAW) for the Decision of your Lord, for verily, you are under Our Eyes, and glorify the Praises of your Lord when you get up from sleep. 48 And in the night-time also hymn His praise, and at the setting of the stars. 49
