Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Does he have knowledge of the hidden, so he can foresee? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 And that his effort will be seen. 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 And that it is He (Allah) Who makes (whom He wills) laugh, and makes (whom He wills) weep; 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 out of a [mere] drop of sperm as it is poured forth, 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This is a warning among the warnings of yore. 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. ۩ 62
