Have you seen him who turns his back, 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Does he have any knowledge of the world beyond the ken of sense-perception, and therefore, clearly sees (the Truth)? 35 Or has he not been told of what is in the scrolls of Moses, 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another, 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 And that his deeds will be seen, 40 and that he shall then be fully recompensed, 41 and that with thy Sustainer is the beginning and the end [of all that exists]; 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 He plunged the villages 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 None except Allah can avert it. 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 Or do you laugh, and do you not weep 60 while you make merry? 61 So prostrate yourselves before God and worship him. ۩ 62
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
