(Muhammad), have you ever seen the one who has turned away (from guidance), 33 Gives a little, then hardens (his heart)? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 And of Ibrahim who faithfully fulfilled? 37 To wit, that a burthened soul shall not bear the burthen of another. 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 From the small seed when it is adapted 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 and Thamud tribes, 51 as well as the people of Noah before them - [since,] verily, they all had been most willful in their evildoing and most overweening 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Then which of thy Lord's bounties disputest thou? 55 He (Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him) is a Herald of Warning, like the former Heralds of Warning. 56 The Hour that was to come draws ever nearer. 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 Or do you laugh, and do you not weep 60 And you are lost in play! 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
