▼ 54 The Moon
Al-Qamar 3 of 3
The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They, too, rejected all Our signs. So We seized them with the seizure of One Mighty, Omnipotent. 42 What then, are your unbelievers better than those? Or do you have an immunity (written) in the Scrolls? 43 Or they say, “We shall all take revenge as a group.” 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are in error and insanity! 47 On the Day whereon they shall be dragged into the Fire upon their faces, it shall be said unto them: taste the touch of the Scorching. 48 Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 49 Our command consists of only one Word which is carried out in the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember! 51 And all what they did is in the Books. 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 In a seat of truth (i.e. Paradise), near the Omnipotent King (Allah, the All-Blessed, the Most High, the Owner of Majesty and Honour). 55
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
