And assuredly unto the household of Fir'awn came the warning. 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 Are the unbelievers among you any better than they? Or is there immunity for you in the Scriptures? 43 Or say they: We are a host victorious? 44 [Yet] the hosts [of those who deny the truth] shall be routed, and they shall turn their backs [in flight]! 45 Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter. 46 Indeed the wrongdoers are in error and a raging fire. 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 We have indeed created all things by measure; 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 [They were truly guilty] because all [the evil] that they ever did had been [revealed to them as such] in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom; 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers, 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
