Everyone on it must pass away. 26 Only the Supreme Essence of your Glorious and Gracious Lord will remain forever. 27 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 28 Everyone in the heavens and on the earth entreats Him. Every day He manifests Himself in a new state. 29 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 30 O you twain, who are a burden (on the earth), We shall attend to you and call you to account. 31 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 32 O you who live in close communion with [evil] invisible beings and humans! If you [think that you] can pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, pass beyond them! [But] you cannot pass beyond them, save by a sanction [from God]! 33 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 34 The flames of fire and smoke will be sent on you two, then you will not be able to defend yourselves. 35 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 36 And when the heaven is rent asunder, and then becomes red like red hide. 37 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 38 On that Day, neither human nor jinn shall be asked about his sin. 39 (We shall see) which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 40 The guilty will be known by their marks, and will be taken by the forelocks and the feet. 41 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 42 (The guilty ones will be told), "This is hell which the sinful ones denied". 43 they shall go round between it, and between a hot, boiling water. 44 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 45
