Lo! God said: "O Jesus! Verily, I shall cause thee to die, and shall exalt thee unto Me, and cleanse thee of [the presence of] those who are bent on denying the truth; and I shall place those who follow thee [far] above those who are bent on denying the truth, unto the Day of Resurrection. In the end, unto Me you all must return, and I shall judge between you with regard to all on which you were wont to differ. 55 Those who are infidels will surely receive severe punishment both in this world and the next; and none will they have to help (or save) them. 56 However, to the righteously striving believers I shall give their reward in full measure." God does not love the unjust. 57 What We recite to you consists of signs and wise admonition. 58 Jesus in the sight of God is like Adam. He created him from dust; then said to him, "Be!" and he was. 59 [This is] the truth from thy Sustainer; be not, then, among the doubters! 60 Therefore say to those who dispute with you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) concerning Eisa after the knowledge has come to you, “Come! Let us summon our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves – then pray humbly, thereby casting the curse of Allah upon the liars!” (The Christians did not accept this challenge.) 61 Verily! This is the true narrative [about the story of 'Iesa (Jesus)], and, La ilaha ill-Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, the One and the Only True God, Who has neither a wife nor a son). And indeed, Allah is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. 62 If they turn away (from the Truth, let it be known that) God knows well the evil-doers. 63
