▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 47 Having numerous branches. 48 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 49 In both of them are two springs, flowing. 50 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 51 In both of them are two pairs of every fruit. 52 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 53 reclining upon couches lined with brocade, the fruits of the gardens nigh to gather -- 54 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 55 therein maidens restraining their glances, untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 56 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 57 As (lovely as) rubies and as (beautiful as) coral. 58 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 59 Can the reward of goodness be any other than goodness? 60 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 61 And besides these two, there are two other Gardens (i.e. in Paradise). 62 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain beli? 63 Two Gardens, dark green and fresh. 64 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 65 Therein are two gushing fountains of water. 66 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 67 In both are fruits and palms and pomegranates. 68 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 69 In them are good and beautiful women - 70 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 71 Houris cloistered in pavilions -- 72 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 73 Untouched before them by man or jinni - 74 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 75 They will be reclining on plain green and beautifully printed cushions 76 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 77 Blessed be your Lord's name, full of glory and majesty! 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
