The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event takes place, 1 and then there will be no one to deny its occurrence 2 The event will be abasing some, and exalting some. 3 When the earth is shaken with a shaking [severe,] 4 and the mountains are totally shattered and crumble to pieces 5 So that they will become floating dust particles. 6 You shall then become three groups. 7 Those on the Right -- how blessed are those on the Right! 8 And (then) those on the left hand; what of those on the left hand? 9 And the Outstrippers, the Outstrippers 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 In Gardens of Delight. 12 a host of the ancients 13 And a few of the later peoples, 14 On thrones decorated, 15 they shall recline, facing each other, 16 Immortal youths will serve them 17 with goblets and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 neither causing headaches, nor intoxication; 19 with fruits of their own choice 20 And with flesh of fowls from that which they desire. 21 And gorgeous eyed fair maidens. 22 Like pearls within their shells, 23 As reward for what they used to do. 24 Not frivolity will they hear therein, nor any taint of ill,- 25 Only the saying, "Peace! Peace". 26 And those on the right how (fortunate) are those on the right! 27 mid thornless lote-trees 28 And clusters of banana plants. 29 Lengthened shadows, 30 near to flowing water 31 And fruit in plenty 32 Whose season is not limited, nor (supply) forbidden, 33 on raised couches. 34 Perfectly We formed them, perfect, 35 Then We have made them virgins, 36 intensely loving and of matching age. 37 for those on the Right, 38

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
