The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 Then will no (soul) entertain falsehood concerning its coming. 2 Abasing (one party), exalting (the other), 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 And the mountains will be crushed, blown to bits. 5 they will become like dust scattered around. 6 And ye are classes three. 7 Those on the Right -- how blessed are those on the Right! 8 And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? 9 The foremost ones (in faith and virtue) - the foremost ones in receiving their reward. 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 In the Gardens of Pleasure, 12 (a throng of the ancients 13 And a few of those (foremost) will be from the later time (generations). 14 On couches wrought of gold, 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 (no brows throbbing, no intoxication) 19 And fruit that they prefer 20 And meat of birds that they may wish. 21 and there shall be wide-eyed maidens, 22 The like of the hidden pearls: 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 They will not hear any unnecessary or sinful talk 25 But only the saying of: Salam!, Salam! (greetings with peace)! 26 Those on the Right, how fortunate are those on the Right! 27 They shall recline on high amidst lote trees without thorns 28 And acacia covered with heaps of bloom, 29 and amid the extended shade 30 near to flowing water 31 and abundant fruit, 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 And raised couches; 34 and their spouses We shall have brought them into being afresh, 35 and made them virgins, 36 Loving (their husbands only), equal in age. 37 with those who have attained to righteousness: 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
