▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 And verily, that is indeed a great oath, if you but know. 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 in a Book protected (from tampering) 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 (This Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 You live by calling it a lie. 82 Why, then, when (the soul) cometh up to the throat (of the dying) 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 why can you not bring it (the soul) back (to life)? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 If he is of those of the right hand, 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
