▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 And that is indeed a tremendous oath, if you understand. 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right." 91 But if one happens to be of those who are wont to call the truth a lie, and [thus] go astray, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
