▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 in a well-guarded preserved Book, 78 Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 There will be peace and plenty, and gardens of tranquility for him. 89 And if he is of those on the right hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, – 92 Then his reception is the hot boiling water. 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
