For those who fear God there are pleasure gardens with their Lord. 34 What, shall we make those who have surrendered like to the sinners? 35 What is amiss with you? On what do you base your judgment [of right and wrong]? 36 Have you a Scripture that tells you 37 That ye shall indeed have all that ye choose? 38 Or have you received from Us an agreement confirmed by an oath extending to the day of resurrection that you shall surely have what you demand? 39 Ask them which of them, for that [claim], is responsible. 40 Or have they "partners"? Then let them bring their "partners" if they are truthful! 41 Upon the day when the leg shall be bared, and they shall be summoned to bow themselves, but they cannot; 42 Their eyes will be cast down and they will be covered in shame; they were bidden to prostrate themselves, when they were safe and sound [but they did not obey]. 43 So leave Me and him who rejects this announcement; We will overtake them by degrees, from whence they perceive not: 44 Yet I will give them respite: Surely My plan is compact. 45 Or is it that you (O Muhammad SAW) ask them a wage, so that they are heavily burdened with debt? 46 Or, is the Unseen with them, and they are writing it down! 47 Then be patient for the decision of your Lord, [O Muhammad], and be not like the companion of the fish when he called out while he was distressed. 48 [And remember:] had not grace from his Sustainer reached him, he would indeed have been cast forth upon that barren shore in a state of disgrace: 49 Then his Lord chose him, and He made him of the good. 50 The unbelievers wellnigh strike thee down with their glances, when they hear the Reminder, and they say, 'Surely he is a man possessed!' 51 And it is nothing but a Reminder unto all beings. 52
