Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
So by oath of the things you see. 38 And what you do not see 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 A sending down from the Lord of all Being. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We assuredly had taken him by the right hand 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 And not one of you could have held Us off from him. 47 And indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder for the righteous. 48 And verily We! We know that some among you are beliers thereof. 49 And lo! it is indeed an anguish for the disbelievers. 50 And most surely it is the true certainty 51 Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 52
