BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And what ye see not, 39 That this is indeed the word of the noble Messenger, 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 Had he invented sayings against Us, 44 We would certainly have seized him by the right hand, 45 Then would have cut off his heart’s artery. 46 and not one of you would have been able to withhold Us from doing so. 47 But verily this is a Message for the Allah-fearing. 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 It is surely the nemesis of unbelievers. 50 This is the Truth beyond any doubt. 51 Extol, then the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 52
