But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 And by whatsoever you see not, 39 that this is the speech of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not the word of a poet, little is that you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us, 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 And verily We! We know that some among you are beliers thereof. 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
