Al-Ma'aarej 2 of 2
What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, 36 towards thee on the right hand and on the left hand in knots? 37 Does every man among them aspire to be admitted into the Garden of serenity? 38 By no means! Surely We have created them of what they know. 39 But nay! I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We are certainly able 40 To replace them by (others) better than them; and We are not to be outrun. 41 So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they meet their Day which they are promised. 42 the Day on which they will hastily come forth from their graves, as though they were hurrying on to the altars of their deities. 43 with their eyes cast down and covered by disgrace; the day about which they were promised. 44
