AND LO! [In the course of his wanderings,] Moses said to his servant: "I shall not give up until I reach the junction of the two seas, even if I [have to] spend untold years [in my quest]!" 60 But when they reached the junction between them, they forgot their fish, and it took its course into the sea, slipping away. 61 After they had passed the place, Moses said to his young companion, "Bring us our morning meal; we have indeed been fatigued by this journey." 62 He said, "Did you see when we retired to the rock? Indeed, I forgot [there] the fish. And none made me forget it except Satan - that I should mention it. And it took its course into the sea amazingly". 63 Said Moosa, “This is exactly what we wanted”; so they came back retracing their steps. 64 There they met one of Our servants who had received blessings and knowledge from Us. 65 Moses asked him, "Can I follow you so that you would teach me the guidance that you have received?" 66 He replied, "You will not be able to have patience with me. 67 “And how will you bear something which your knowledge does not encompass?” 68 He said: Allah willing, thou shalt find me patient and I shall not in aught gainsay thee. 69 He said: then if thou wilt follow me ask me not of anything until I begin thereof some mention. 70
