Jinns (Al-Jinn)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I have received the divine revelation that some jinns attentively listened to my recitation, so they said, ‘We have heard a unique Qur’an.’ 1 'It guides to the Right Path, and we have believed therein, and we shall never join (in worship) anything with our Lord (Allah). 2 and that “He – exalted be His Majesty – has not taken to Himself either a wife or a son”; 3 And the foolish among us were wont to forge lies against Allah exceedingly. 4 and that “we had thought that men and jinn would never speak a lie about Allah”, 5 And persons among humankind have been seeking refuge with persons of the jinn, so that they increased them in evil disposition. 6 Those people thought, like you, that God would never send down a Messenger. 7 'And we have sought to reach the heaven; but found it filled with stern guards and flaming fires. 8 'We used, indeed, to sit there in (hidden) stations, to (steal) a hearing; but any who listen now will find a flaming fire watching him in ambush. 9 we cannot tell if this bodes evil to those who dwell on earth or whether their Lord intends to guide them. 10 Some of us are righteous, while others are not; we follow divergent paths. 11 ‘And we are certain that we cannot defeat Allah in the earth, nor can we run out of His grasp.’ 12 and that “when we heard the teaching of the Right Way we came to believe in it; he who believes in His Lord shall have no fear of suffering loss or being subjected to any injustice”; 13 And among us are Muslims [in submission to Allah], and among us are the unjust. And whoever has become Muslim - those have sought out the right course. 14 but those who have deviated shall become the fuel of Gehenna (Hell). 15 If they had followed the Path We would give to them abundant water to drink, 16 as a trial for them. God will make those who disregard the guidance from their Lord suffer increasing torment. 17 Mosques belong to Allah, so do not call to anyone else, other than Allah. 18 When the worshiper of Allah stood supplicating to Him, they swarmed around him (Prophet Muhammad). 19
