The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
O thou wrapped up (in the mantle)! 1 Arise and warn! 2 And thy Sustainer's greatness glorify! 3 And your garments purify! 4 and flee from the statues! 5 Nor expect, in giving, any increase (for thyself)! 6 And for the good-will of thy Lord be thou patient. 7 And [warn all men that] when the trumpet-call [of resurrection] is sounded, 8 that very Day shall be a day of anguish, 9 not of ease, for all who [now] deny the truth! 10 Leave Me alone with he whom I created 11 and to whom I have granted resources in abundance, 12 And sons always present by his side, 13 And spread [everything] before him, easing [his life]. 14 and yet, he greedily desires that I give him even more! 15 Never! For he is an enemy to Our signs! 16 Soon will I visit him with a mount of calamities! 17 Verily he considered, and devised. 18 (Self-)destroyed is he, how he planned! 19 What an evil plan he has made! 20 Then he considered [again]; 21 then frowned and scowled; 22 Then he turned away, and was haughty. 23 Then said he: "This is nothing but magic, derived from of old; 24 "This is nothing but the word of a human being!" 25 Anon shall I roast him into the Scorching Fire. 26 And what could make thee conceive what hell-fire is? 27 It does not allow anyone to live, and neither does it leave anyone to die; 28 and it burns the flesh. 29 Above it are nineteen guards. 30 And We have not made the wardens of the fire others than angels, and We have not made their number but as a trial for those who disbelieve, that those who have been given the book may be certain and those who believe may increase in faith, and those who have been given the book and the believers may not doubt, and that those in whose hearts is a disease and the unbelievers may say: What does Allah mean by this parable? Thus does Allah make err whom He pleases, and He guides whom He pleases, and none knows the hosts of your Lord but He Himself; and this is naught but a reminder to the mortals. 31

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
