By no means! By the moon, 32 By the receding night 33 By the morning when it brighteneth. 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 A warning to mankind,- 36 alike to every one of you, who want to go forward or hang back. 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Except the Companions of the Right Hand. 39 In gardens, they shall ask each other 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 What has brought you into hell? 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 “And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly.” 45 and the Day of Judgment we were wont to call a lie 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 The intercession of the intercessors shall then be of no avail to them. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 as though they were frightened wild asses, 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this (Quran) is an admonition, 54 Let him then who heeds remember it. 55 And they will not remember, except that God wills; He is worthy to be feared, -- worthy to forgive. 56
