I say the truth, and call the moon to witness, 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Each one is a hostage to one's deeds, 38 Except those on the right side. 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 What led you into the Scorching Fire? 42 They will say: we have not been of those who prayed. 43 And did not feed the needy, 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 and we denied the Day of Judgement 46 till the certainty (death) overtook us' 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 Then what is [the matter] with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away 49 as though they were frightened wild asses, 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 This will certainly never be the case! In fact, they are not afraid of the Day of Judgment. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 And they will not remember except that Allah wills. He is worthy of fear and adequate for [granting] forgiveness. 56
