Nay, by the Moon 32 and by the night when it recedes, 33 And by the dawn when it brightens, 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 To any of you that chooses to press forward, or to follow behind;- 37 Every soul is mortgaged for its own deeds. 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 Sitting in the gardens, asking 40 of those who were lost in sin: 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 They will say, "We were not of those who prayed, 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses. 45 "And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 running away from a lion? 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 Then whoever wills will remember it. 55 No one will seek guidance unless God wills it. He alone is worthy of being feared and He is the Source of Forgiveness. 56
Almighty God's Truth.
