Nay! By the moon 32 And the night when it withdraweth 33 And the daybreak when it shines; 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 Warn the men. 36 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind. 37 Every soul will be a pledge for that which it hath earned, 38 except those of the right hand 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 concerning the sinners, 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They will reply, "We did not pray, 43 and we did not feed the needy. 44 We indulged and persisted in useless disputes, 45 and the Day of Judgment we were wont to call a lie 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 If such will be the Day of Judgment, what is the matter with them? Why do they run away from guidance, 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 That had fled from a lion? 51 Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls. 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 No, indeed, surely, this is a Reminder. 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
