No, by the moon! 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 and the morn when it dawns! 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 a warning to humans, 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Each one is a hostage to one's deeds, 38 Except those of the right hand 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 About the criminals, 41 'What caused you to be thrust into the Scorching (Fire)' 42 They will say, "We were not of those who prayed, 43 “Nor used to feed the needy.” 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 till the certainty (death) overtook us' 47 So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 Nay! but they do not fear the hereafter. 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 So whoever wills may heed advice from it. 55 they will only take heed if God so wills: He is the Lord who is worthy to be feared: the Lord of forgiveness. 56
