Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ I swear by the Day of Resurrection; 1 And I call the reprehensive soul to witness: 2 Do men think that We shall never be able to assemble their bones? 3 Yea! WE are Able to put together evenly his finger-tips. 4 Aye! man desireth that he may sin before him. 5 He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection?" 6 So when the eyes will be blinded by light. 7 the moon eclipsed. 8 when the sun and the moon are brought together, 9 On that day man will cry: Whither to flee! 10 No! There is no refuge. 11 To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence. 12 On that day, people will be informed of all that they had done and all that they were supposed to do. 13 He shall be a clear proof against himself, 14 Whatever the excuses he may offer. 15 Do not move your tongue with it (the Revelation) to hasten it. 16 Surely its collection and recitation are Our responsibility. 17 Wherefore when We recite it, follow thou the reciting thereof. 18 Nay more, it is for Us to explain it (and make it clear): 19 Not [as you think, that you (mankind) will not be resurrected and recompensed for your deeds], but (you men) love the present life of this world, 20 And leave alone the Hereafter. 21 On that Day there shall be radiant faces, 22 gazing upon their Lord; 23 and some faces will on that Day be gloomy, 24 believing that a crushing calamity is about to strike them. 25 NAY, but when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 26 And it is cried. who can charm? 27 And he (the dying person) will conclude that it was (the time) of departing (death); 28 when his legs are brought together [when affliction is combined with affliction]; 29 on that Day he will be driven towards your Lord! 30

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
