Indeed, it is We who have sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Qur'an progressively. 23 So persevere with the command of your Lord and do not pay any heed to the wicked and the unbelieving, 24 And remember the Name of your Lord every morning and afternoon [i.e. offering of the Morning (Fajr), Zuhr, and 'Asr prayers]. 25 and in the night prostrate to Him; and exalt Him for a long night. 26 Lo! these love fleeting life, and put behind them (the remembrance of) a grievous day. 27 It is We Who created them, and strengthened their skeleton; and We can replace them with others like them, whenever We will. 28 This is an admonition: Whosoever will, let him take a (straight) Path to his Lord. 29 But you cannot will it unless God wills [to show you that way] -- God is indeed all-knowing and wise -- 30 He is Merciful to whom He will; but, for the harmdoers He has prepared for them a painful punishment. 31
