Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 Consider these [messages] that spread [the truth] far and wide, 3 separating one from another, 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 And when the mountains are blown away, 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 For a known calculated term. 22 See that We had the power to do so. Great indeed is Our power to do what We will. 23 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 The living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm, and tall mountains; and have given you to drink sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
