Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the winds (or angels or the Messengers of Allah) sent forth one after another. 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 and by the scatterers scattering (rain) 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 And when the time comes for raising the little girls (buried alive) -- 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the sinful ones. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 And We placed it in a firm lodging 21 until an appointed time? 22 Thus We arranged. How excellent is Our arranging! 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 For the living and the dead. 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 "Depart you to a shadow (of Hell-fire smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40
