Al-Naba' 2 of 2
Surely the state of triumph awaits the God-fearing: 31 luxuriant gardens and vinyards, 32 And young full-breasted (mature) maidens of equal age; 33 And a pure cup. 34 They shall not hear therein any vain words nor lying. 35 A recompense from thy Lord - a gift sufficient 36 from the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of that which is between them; the Most Merciful Lord before Whom none dare utter a word. 37 The Day when the Spirit and the angels are ranged row on row. None shall speak save he whom the Merciful Lord will permit; and he too will speak what is right. 38 That is without doubt the True Day, so, whosoever wills, let him seek a place with (or a way to) His Lord (by obeying Him in this worldly life)! 39 We warn you of a punishment that has come near; a day on which man will see what his own hands have sent ahead, and the disbeliever will say, “Alas – if only I were dust!” 40
